Dava Street Venue Accessibility Statement
CEIS Group is committed to ensuring that our venue is accessible to all visitors and that we provide an inclusive environment for everyone. This statement outlines the current accessibility features of our building, as well as our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
CEIS Group’s vision is to make Scotland a better place to live and work. We aim to ensure equity for everyone who engages with us, including clients, staff, contractors, suppliers, funders, applicants, volunteers and members of the public. We recognise that a diverse workforce representative of the people we work with and the communities we operate in allows us to provide the most effective services.
We are committed to:
- Creating a workplace that treats all people with dignity and respect
- Actively opposing discrimination, harassment or victimisation in any form
- Advancing diversity and inclusion across our organisation
- Ensuring no one experiences less favourable treatment on grounds of age, disability, gender identity, marital or civil status, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation (the “protected characteristics”)
- Providing an environment that respects and values each other’s differences and promotes dignity, equity, diversity and inclusion
Getting Here
- We have designated car parking spaces in the business park car park plus a designated CEIS disabled car parking space immediately outside our building, which are easy to access. We have further car parking spaces to the side of the building, across the road, marked with CEIS in white paint.
- The disabled parking space has a dropped kerb. There is also an area to the side of our building with a dropped kerb, allowing step free access from the car park and for drop offs and pick-ups.
- The flooring from the car park to the entrance is solid, even, and in good condition.
- Govan SPT subway and bus station is the closest accessible subway and bus station to our office. To view the accessibility of SPT Subway stations, visit https://www.spt.co.uk/subway/accessibility-mobility/
Service Animals
- Service animals are permitted in the building.
- There is a green space close to the side of our building where service animals can be exercised. This is within the business park car park and is unsecured, therefore service animals should remain on a lead for their safety.
Entering the Building
- The main entrance is step-free.
- Our entrance doorway is easily opened, but please note it is not automatic.
- We have an intercom system for visitors to alert staff of their arrival.
- There is a separate, lower intercom system so that everyone can comfortably reach and use the intercom, regardless of their height or whether they use a wheelchair.
- The door threshold is level, allowing easy access for wheelchair users.

- The flooring throughout is solid, even, and in good condition.
- The building is well-lit throughout.
