CEiS, along with Social Firms Scotland and Senscot is a partner in Ready for Business. The programme seeks to maximise value for public sector procurers by promoting engagement between the private sector and social enterprise.
The programme has developed a register of “business ready” social enterprises which is available to private sector organisations looking for social enterprises to partner with. The programme also provides capacity building support for clusters and individual social enterprises whilst supporting procurement authorities and promoting best practice in relation to the use of community benefit clauses in public contracts.
This programme will end on June 30th 2011.
