How our work is supported

CEiS is a social enterprise and as such the cost of delivering our services needs to be matched by income to meet these costs to ensure we remain a sustainable social business. When we have provisionally discussed the support we think a client needs, we then develop an assignment brief that would indicate the number of days we think the work will take and how much that work will cost. In that brief we will identify what finance options may be available for a particular piece of work. We have a range of potential options to finance our business support services depending on the nature of the support required, where clients are based or where they are providing services. These include:

  • Just Enterprise: we are one of the consortium providers of the new Scottish Government funded business support programme for the third sector.
  • Investing in Enterprise: is a part European supported programme operating in the following local authority areas that are also supporting the business support service – Glasgow, Inverclyde, and North Ayrshire.
  • Glasgow based clients: for many years Glasgow City Council has been one of our key partners supporting our work in helping to develop the third sector across the City.
  • Client contribution: we may require a contribution from you or from a funding source that you have accessed and, where applicable, this would need to be agreed before our work could start.
