CEiS Annual Conference: Maintaining, Developing and Growing Social Enterprise in Scotland
Wednesday 5th September 2012, Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow
The CEiS Annual Conference 2012 was another successful event, bringing together over 200 social enterprise leaders, practitioners, supporters and policy makers to deliver a programme to challenge and inform, and to allow networking with colleagues from across the social enterprise sector. The conference report is available here.
Speaker presentations are available in the links below:
The annual social enterprise conference 2012 took stock of the outcomes and plans to maintain, develop and grow Scotland’s enterprising third sector. The most significant themes – delivery of public services and social enterprise and youth employment, were explored together with scene setting for investment in social enterprise through the new Enterprise Growth Fund and the 2014 Commonwealth Games Legacy Programme.
Throughout the day participants engaged online to capture feedback on the significance of social enterprise identity and further supported the ideas, products and services presented by the next generation of social enterprise leaders in Scotland – participants in the enterprising schools programme.
The event allowed social enterprise leaders, practitioners, and supporters in Scotland, the UK and Australia to reflect on the impact of changes in the sector, to look forward to the future, to network and to interact with a range of guests.
